I was planing to have my first entry sitting in the living room in front of the Christmas tree with my hair and makeup done. However, that wasn't how it worked out. Instead you get to see my first entry standing in our front yard, no makeup and the hair....well,the hair isn't tooooo bad....lol.
Anyway....the video will say it all. I love you all and am thankful for you all.....now and always.

Love video blogs! Pretty cool.
Yikes! I'm still watching your video blog. Whoa...
Great blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own site soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Thanks!
Fran, I just read your page on How it Began and I'm so happy your Mom heard the voice of the Holy Spirit so you would be here to share your heart.
~Fawn, thank you so much!!! I am too. :) Amazing abut the power pole too huh? God's grace and protection are always on time.
~Anonymous, Thank you. Well...s far as what platform....yes, either Wordpress or blogger. As you can see I refer blogger...but that's because I'm familiar with it. I wouldn't suggest a paid site yet, especially because you are just getting started and you don't know yet what your creative ebb and flow will be like so it's wise not to pay for something until you establish yourself more. Plus, using a free site to start will allow you to decide what you like and don't like in a web page...that way if you venture to a paid site, you'll already know what you need, don't need and what will best suit your needs.
As far as hints for an aspiring writer....the best advice I can give is also the simplest. Be yourself. Don't try to imitate others people will love you for who you are and that will never be a carbon copy of someone else. Write the way you speak to those around you when you are having an intimate conversation. Share the thoughts and insights that come flooding to your mind while you're in the shower or driving in the car. Put it down on paper...or on your blog and don't over edit to try and impress...just be the you that God created you to be and He will give you the words HE wants you to share. Good luck and please send me a ling when you get started...I would love to read what you share. :)
