What I Believe

For those of you that have asked and for new readers, I decided it was time to add a new page here at AMH. One that clearly and simply lays out what I believe and my purpose for writing this blog.

  My Statement of Faith

The sole basis of my faith is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it bears.

The Bible teaches there is one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of Deity.

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God's saving grace to end our alienation from God. Salvation comes only through God's saving grace - not human effort - and must be received personally by faith.

 My Personal Mission Statement

I was created and rescued to joyfully serve and wisely mentor believers and non believers to become strategically proactive in using their personal lives as well as their God given talents, abilities and assets to their fullest potential for Kingdom purposes.

Isaiah 43:7, Psalm 116:6, I Cor 9:19, Proverbs 11:25, Rom 12:2, I Peter 1:13, Matthew 25:14-28,Matt 6:33

I believe that we never stop learning and no experience, good or bad, is wasted by the unending grace and infinite wisdom of God.

As a Christian woman I am also regularly focusing my attention on attempting to live and grow in the seven principles of the Godly woman described in Proverbs 31 of The Bible. Those principles are as follows:

The Proverbs 31 Woman...

Pursues an ongoing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Loves, honors, and greatly enriches the life of her husband, encouraging and supporting his leadership within his family and his church.

Nurtures the next generation, shaping and molding the children who will one day define who we are as a community and as a nation.

Creates a warm and loving environment for family and friends.

Is a faithful steward of the time and money God has entrusted to her.

Speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction as she encourages others and develops Godly friendships.

Shares the love of Christ by extending her hands to help the poor and opening her arms to the needy.
